Impala wagon?

It’s so big you could chop it and have a 4 door El Camino.

And that was a mid-sized car in its day. See Chevy Kingswood .

I'm not a big Chevrolet fan but I do have a soft spot for the Malibu wagon and various other wagons.

Worst part is, still weighs significantly less than a new camaro.

‘68 Malibu. Beautiful!

I think GM had some of the best wagons in the muscle car era. Every GM car manufacturer had one, even cadillac. My personal favorite is the Vista cruiser/Sport wagon. They had the sky lights. (Buddies 67 Buick Sport wagon)

But it said Chevelle...

Damn, that looks good.

Chevelle was an option package on the Malibu, so that means it’s even cooler!

I’m 99% sure any Cadillac wagon from that era was custom made.

Nice spotting, a lot of those didn’t survive into the 21st century!
Now you gotta find an Oldsmobile Vista Cruiser with it’s roof window!

Cool thing about these. The tailgate can either swing down like a truck tailgate, or sideways like a first gen RAV 4.

Shit, you’re right. I always mix that up.

I have seen one or two and i guess i always thought caddy made one but you are correct the ones that were made were ether dealer/custom shops or there are a few that were custom ordered and are “Factory-authorized limited production”

Nice! But I’ve always been partial to the Buick Sportwagon. My brother had a ‘68 with the glass that wrapped up over the roof in the back. And here’s another really nice one:
